In season, passing humpback whales can be spotted from Gugulesizwe Camp’s strategic location, just 4km inland. Quite different in feel to the sultry seaside forest, ‘Gugs’ (as this camp is affectionately known) is noted for the beauty of the early morning and late afternoon light shining on the surrounding sea of grass.

Situated above the superb snorkelling site at Lala Nek, Gugulesizwe provides everything for the idea family-and-friends holiday.

The open, airy location lends itself to daydreaming, while kids can burn off their excess energy in safety.

Enjoy the 8 en-suite rooms (including one family room with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom), as well as the bar, kitchen, lounge, pool deck and boma.
